Last Wednesday evening I had the distinct pleasure to share my experience as a professional with the Edmonton Region Immigrant Employment Council (ERIEC) mentees as a guest speaker presenting Communication Do’s and Don’ts.

I have appreciated very much the level of interest showed by my younger peers.

Seeing the hope in their eyes sent me on a journey through time, remembering my first hopes and challenges in Canada, almost 20 years ago.
